Garden Outreach
Garden outreach is essential to the mission of the Livermore-Amador Valley Garden Club (LAVGC). By actively supporting local gardens in Pleasanton and Livermore, we not only enhance the beauty of our neighborhoods but also foster a sense of community spirit. Our members dedicate their time and effort to care for several gardens, adapting workdays based on seasonal needs and the specific requirements of each garden. Members work at food gardens, like Clare's Fare and Eden Garden to grow fresh produce for community members in need. Gardens like the Hansen Park Rose Garden and the Sensory Garden add beauty to the community and help to educate community members about gardening. Together, we can cultivate not just gardens, but also friendships and a shared commitment to our vibrant community!
