Who We Are
Livermore-Amador Valley Garden Club (LAVGC) is a dedicated non-profit educational organization affiliated with California Garden Clubs, Inc. We serve the vibrant Tri-Valley Area, including Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Sunol.
We believe in gardening for fun and purpose while working together to share knowledge and promote environmental responsibility. We do this by encouraging interest in all phases of home gardening and by promoting better horticultural practices, civic beauty, and conservation of natural resources.
Club meetings are the second Thursday of the month, September through June, with speakers covering a range of topics. Visitors are welcome to attend one Club meeting before joining. Special interest groups and community service work parties meet regularly throughout the year.

General Meeting
June Meeting: End of the Membership Year potluck and social
When: Thursday June 12, 6:00 to 8:00 PM
Where: CrossWinds Church, 1660 Freisman Rd, Livermore, Farm Theater in the red buildings next to the parking lot.
The June meeting will be an opportunity to celebrate the Club’s accomplishments during the 2024-2025 membership year, get to know your fellow members better, and enjoy a wonderful. potluck dinner. Sharon tells us that there will be a surprise so you’ll need to come to find out what that will be.
The Club will provide eating utensils, paper products and table decorations. Members will provide the dishes for the potluck. Please bring a dish to share from the categories below, according to the first letter of your last name. Store bought is just fine if you prefer not to cook or bake. If your dish requires serving utensils, please bring them with your dish.
A – F: Hot side dish (Ideas: rice, potatoes, veggies, fruits, beans, pasta, or bread-based type of dishes)
G – L: Sweet treats: Surprise us with an interesting delicacy. (Ideas: candy, cookies, pie or cake)
M – O: Toothpick or finger food snack (no utensils needed for this snack)
P – R: Cold side dish (Ideas: same as for hot)
S – Z: Non- Alcoholic beverages (Ideas: sparkling water, cider, punch, lemonade, water)
